Hi! So, seeing that it's 1st of June and my last post has been about 4 months ago, i wanted to start writing again here now that all the major events i was looking forward to have already past! That is my trip to New York in March and my trip to Punta Cana with all my school's class of 2015 💗. Still a few things i'm looking forward this year, like my high school graduation! 2015 is a year i've been looking forward my whole life so i'm very excited!
On that note, i'll be posting again now that i have a bit more free time, although i'm in the IB i'll make it happen!
As i mentioned in the last post, i'm into vintage finds so much recently. I don't know but i just feel that with every find i get a little piece of a different era and i loved that, and it leaves me wondering the history behind it or who the previous owner was. So i went to the center of Lima, the place where you can find all this, and in Tarata, where i usually go to buy used (but still in wonderful condition) books for like 5 soles tops, found a small record store which was actually really hidden. It was paradise and i found all of these records of artists i have heard of before, I usually buy records of bands or artists who i at least know 3 songs of. I forgot to add to the pictures my Beethoven record intended for studying background music :(
So a couple of days ago my mom, knowing that i'm into vintage finds recently, told me that her friend was selling a vintage camera that used to belong to his grandma so i bought it because it was perfect. The model is called Koroll 35 now but used to be called Korolette back to when it was first released by this Milan based camera company in the early 50s, so it is authentic. I have just bought the 35 mm film so i can use it and i've already tried a few photos so far, i'll probably post the photos when i complete the film !
So in this post i wanted to update on my hair. So recently, i decided to dye my hair tips purple, like ombré but instead of blonde tips, purple tips. I've been wanting to since a really long time ago and i finally decided to do it. Dad didn't approve so much, but eventually was fine with it, and my mom took me to the hair salon to do it. I loved the final results and couldn't possibly be any happier with it, so here's some selfies i took after it!
Hi guys! I'm back ha. 2014 has been such a busy year for me, all along busy as i took my IGCSES (results are out in like a 2 weeks and i'm nervous as hell) so i completely forgot about this blog. So like a year after my last post i am starting again. So much has happened since my last post and i just couldn't possibly type it all in but yeah, here's a summary:
1. Turned 16 yay
2. Got a cat (his name's Harry)
3. Dyed my hair tips purple
4.Went to so many raves and even saw David Guetta live yay
5. So much additions to my wardrobe
6. Read a bunch of books
7. Into vintage finds now
8. Started a vynil and cassettes collection
9. Met my biggest fashion inspiration Lua Perez from Le Happy
From now, i'll update daily about books i've read recently, new buys, and new additions to my closet so keep reading!
So this is a list of the songs i've been loving this month. So into Artic Monkeys right now, their music makes me feel so alive and happy. Hope everyone has a great week, i know i will since it's my last week of freedom and vacations :'( back to school in exactly 1 week which is depressing. Guess i'll have to listen to AM more than usual.
PD: i appreciate the comments so thanks a lot :) I don't know how to comment my own posts back so sorry if i don't reply !
Hi guys :) So this is a look i wore a few days ago to go out, bought this disco pants last year and i haven't worn them until the day before yesterday cause i didn't know how to wear it, truth is i still don't but whatever i was in a hurry and didn't know how to style them properly :( it still looks cute though because of my muscle tee, the quote describes me to perfection! Even my dad laughed.
Muscle tee: Love Culture
Disco Pants: Young Academy (peruvian brand by a peruvian fashion blogger: Rosi Mullner)
Platform Shoes: Mysteria (store owned by the same blogger!)
Didn't take much pictures because the quality of the pictures are annoying me sorry about that! I need to get a camera soon.
